About

A CRM template built the way a product would be built

Nexus is Template 20 from UT Studio. It exists to answer a specific question: what would it take for a frontend template to be a genuinely credible starting point for a commercial CRM, rather than a gallery of screenshots?

One source of truth

Nothing derived is ever stored. A deal's value is the sum of its line items, a company's revenue is the sum of its won deals, and the dashboard is a query over the same records. There is no second copy of the truth to drift.

Tokens, not hex codes

Every colour, radius and shadow in the product resolves through CSS custom properties. That is what makes six visual identities possible without six codebases, and what makes a seventh cheap.

Designed for long sessions

Dense tables, real keyboard navigation, a command palette, saved views and restrained motion. The measure of a CRM is not how it photographs — it is how it feels after four hours.

Honest about the boundary

This is a frontend. Where a real product would call a server, Nexus says so rather than pretending. No fake authentication, no fake delivery, no fake security.

How the demo data works

Nexus ships a deterministic dataset rather than a database. A seeded generator produces the same accounts, people, opportunities and history on every machine, on every build, in the browser and on the server.

Frozen clock

The demo runs against a fixed 'today' — 17 June 2026 — so relative labels, overdue counts and quarter boundaries are stable forever.

No randomness at runtime

Math.random is never called. Every generated value comes from a seeded stream, which is why server and client renders always agree.

Local-only mutations

Stage changes, completed tasks, notes and automations are stored as a small validated overlay in this browser, merged on read.

Reset in one action

Because nothing mutates the seed, resetting the demo is simply discarding the overlay.

Take it apart

The fastest way to evaluate the architecture is to use it. Open the workspace, change something and see how far the change travels.
